Technology has replaced many tasks that humans can do, from collecting tolls on the highway to solving complex math equations. Unfortunately, to a large degree, technology has also replaced the art of handwritten notes. However, this is one task that we can impact, so it's up to us to make the effort of handwriting notes to family, friends, clients, and colleagues. Doing so, demonstrates to them that we care, expressing in words our gratitude and appreciation, thus deepening the relationship in meaningful ways. Also, a handwritten note may be useful if you're challenged with verbally expressing your thoughts and feelings to the person you are communicating with.
